Violet Anne Gunn, fell asleep on 03 June 2006 aged 72.

Retired, living in Leicester, orignally from Dublin, Eire. Devoted wife to the late John Gunn, Mother to 8 children, Elaine, Annette, John, Jamie, Julie, Tracey, Theresa and Scott. Grandma & Great grandma to very many...... and a sister to two brothers and two sisters and aunt to many.

A very popular lady who always knew someone wherever she went; bumping in to old friends gone by. Well known locally where she lived and a great loyal confidant too many.

A very loving and caring mother who was always there to lend a hand and a shoulder in times of need. Never selfish always thoughtful, outgoing and friendly who liked her Bingo!! Enjoyed spending time with her family and sharing a good old dance n boogie.

Passed away suddenly without saying goodbye, and this is one of the hardest part to live with as we never got to say how MUCH we all love cherished and adored you and held you in the highest regards. We shared so many goodtimes together and this is what now remains and will forever. We all miss you very much and life has changed so much as there is a huge gap that will never be filled and we miss the family gathering on a Saturday with your Coddle and mince and tatties!!

You never had it easy mum, but you made our lives a joy and we never went without, although now that we look back we realise just how much you sacrificed for all of us. We all appreciated what you did for us; we all wanted to treat and look after you and make sure you didn't go without when we were old enough and in a position offer our help and spoil you with presents on your Birthday and at Christmas times and just whenever we wanted to treat you. Our wish is that you were still here and we had more time to pamper you xx xx xx xX

Loving you always, forgetting you never x.x.x.x.x.x.x.X

My beautiful Mum

Hi Mum, can't believe it's been 5yrs since I last saw you and heard your voice, sometimes it's so hard not being able to just ring you or even pop in for a cuppa, as sometimes I really need to speak to you for reassurance over things that I have been going through the last couple of years, miss you so much the hurt never goes away for you or dad you are the best parents anyone could have wished for, I just wish I had you both back with us now. Love & miss you so much live your daughter Theresa xxx

Missing my mum

It may have been a while since I have been on here, but not a day goes by when I don't think of you. Missing you all the time and wish you were here to put my arms around and give you a hug & cuddle. Well as Julie said I too thought of you whilst watching the grand national and even had to turn the TV up as you always said you couldn't here it! ... that's cause you was always shouting at your horse to win! Love & miss you all the time Scott xx
